Our thanks to the Oppenheim-Ephratah School and local residents. Clothing donated to us from so many provided clean, warm shirts, pants, hats, gloves, sweaters and bedding for many children in our area. Thank you so much for your donations and your continued support of our efforts to meet genuine needs.

Gifts & Food To The Community

Life Christian Center was able to pour back into the community this past Holiday season once again. Local patrons, congregation members, the Golub Corporation, Hannaford Supermarkets, Walmart, Walmart Distribution Center, Price Chopper, the Johnstown Post Office and McDonalds all made this Christmas much better for those who were in need.  With the help of volunteers 157 gifts were obtained, wrapped and delivered to 80 local children. 29 boxes of food were assembled as well which provided 106 people with holiday meals they would have otherwise been without. We count it such a blessing to serve our community in this simple way and want to extend a heart-felt "thank you" to those individuals and corporations who gave of their time and finances. Without your help none of this would have been possible.

Weekly Bakery Products And

Monthly Household Products Distribution

 

We are fortunate to be a resource for the community on a weekly and monthly basis.  Every Tuesday and Friday we provide baked good to those in need. In addition, the first Friday of every month we give away household products, cleaning supplies, diapers, paper products and other necessities of life. Last year we gave away over $250,000 in food, supplies, furniture and household products at no charge to those in need. Our hope is to exceed the quarter-million dollar mark in 2009 and we are well on our way thanks to the Wal-Mart and Price Chopper Corporations,  and truckers from the Fonda Fultonville Truck Stop and the Wal-Mart Distribution Center. Thank You So Much!  You have made a huge difference in our community.
